We provide a dedicated space equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for your medical professionals to conduct comprehensive general medical and orthopaedic examinations. This enables your team of doctors to meticulously assess the overall health of your athletes, as well as evaluate the musculoskeletal system for any potential issues that could affect performance or increase the risk of injury. Our aim is to ensure your team has the privacy and resources necessary to carry out their duties effectively and efficiently.

CONSULTATION ROOM ACCESS FOR YOUR MEDICAL TEAM

Our highly skilled team of radiographers specialise in carrying out high-resolution MRI scans with a focus on musculoskeletal and cardiac imaging. This advanced technology enables us to accurately identify any potential underlying structural issues that could impact player performance or pose health risks. For the interpretation of scans, we have an in-house consultant radiologist available to provide a detailed analysis. However, should you prefer to use your own radiologists for interpretation, we are more than accommodating and can readily provide the necessary images and data.

MRI IMAGING

The Biodex system allows us to accurately measure the muscular strength and functionality of your athletes, including critical evaluations of quad/hamstring ratios which are essential for optimal performance and injury prevention. This system is especially beneficial in the formulation and assessment of return-to-play protocols following ACL injuries. By detecting muscular imbalances and assessing the effectiveness of rehabilitation programmes, we can provide detailed feedback for individualised training plans. Our focus is on enhancing performance while ensuring safe and effective return-to-play trajectories for injured athletes.

ISOKINETIC DYNAMOMETRY (Biodex System)

We offer a comprehensive suite of sports cardiology services tailored for athletes. Our assessments include Electrocardiogram (ECG) to evaluate electrical activity of the heart, Echocardiogram (ECHO) to examine the heart&#8217;s structure and function, Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET) to assess cardiac, pulmonary, and metabolic responses to exercise, and Cardiac MRI Imaging for detailed structural and functional evaluation of the heart. Our specialised cardiology assessments provide deep insights into your athletes&#8217; heart health, ensuring they are fit for high-performance sports activity.

SPORTS CARDIOLOGY

Our expert team conducts thorough heart and lung function tests to ensure your athletes can support high-intensity physical activity. These assessments can encompass a variety of tests such as VO2max testing on cycle ergometers or treadmills, active ECG assessments, blood lactate analysis or a combination of all investigations. CARDIOPULMONARY ASSESSMENT

Our specialised biomechanics services allow us to deeply understand and analyse player movements. Using cutting-edge techniques such as GAIT analysis, Jump Testing, and Strength Testing for the Cervical and Thoracolumbar regions, we can identify any biomechanical issues that could potentially impact performance or increase injury risk. Our thorough assessments help in devising customised training programmes to optimise performance and safeguard your athletes.

BIOMECHANICAL ASSESSMENT

We provide an 8-minute cutting-edge body composition MRI services that delve into precise body fat measurements. This includes analyses of subcutaneous fat, visceral fat, and liver fat, alongside assessments of individual muscle volumes. Our advanced imaging technology allows us to accurately determine the body composition of your athletes, offering valuable insight into their physical condition and aiding in the development of tailored training and nutrition plans.

BODY COMPOSITION MRI

We conduct comprehensive blood tests as part of our medical transfer services, helping to identify any underlying health conditions that might not be immediately apparent from a physical examination. These tests provide critical insights into a player&#8217;s overall health and fitness, informing decisions about their ability to perform at the highest level. Our blood tests cover a wide spectrum of health markers, including but not limited to full blood count, liver function tests, kidney function tests, lipid profile, glucose levels, and iron levels. We also examine markers of inflammation, such as C-reactive protein, as well as specific sports-related tests such as blood lactate levels.
