Prof Hilali Noordeen

Professor Noordeen joins Lanserhof at The Arts Club as a Consultant Spine Surgeon.

Having trained in medicine at Balliol College, University of Oxford and then at the Royal National Orthopaedic hospital, Stanmore, where he was awarded the gold medal at the FRCS (Orth.) exams in 1994. Professor Noordeen worked at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore as a consultant for the last 30 years, and founded the Deformity Service at both the Great Ormond Street Hospital and at the Portland Hospital. He currently practices at the Harley Street Hospitals and the HCA group focusing on scoliosis, spinal injury, and trauma.

The joys and tribulations of his years in medicine are now in a book, ‘Letters to a Young Doctor’ which is widely available, giving an insider’s glimpse into the practice of medicine.
