• Cachexia
• Cryoglobulinaemia
• Pregnancy
• Untreated high blood pressure
• Cardiovascular system diseases (unstable angina pectoris, heart attack/cardiac failure within the past six months)
• Respiratory system diseases
• Pacemaker
• Peripheral artery occlusive disease (Fontaine stages III and IV)
• History of deep-vein thrombosis
• Hypothermia
• Acute febrile diseases of the respiratory tract
• Acute renal and urinary disorders
• Severe anaemia
• Signs or symptoms of cold allergy
• Severe wasting diseases
• Seizure disorders
• Large-area bacterial and viral skin infections, wound-healing problems
• Alcohol and drug influence
• Blood flow/bleeding disorders
